UCF Downtown will resume classes for the fall 2020 semester on Monday, Aug. 24, 2020. Due to COVID-19, campus services will be offered in both virtual and in-person formats.
Are masks required at UCF?
No. Under the new guidelines, no member of the UCF community is permitted to require any other member of the UCF community to wear a face covering on campus, whether in an office, classroom or other location. You may encourage others to wear face coverings, but you may not require them to do so.

August 10, 2021 We are so excited to see our new and returning Knights when the fall semester starts in just 13 days. Because our community is experiencing a rise in COVID-19 cases, including the more contagious Delta variant, we expect all Knights who are able to do so to get vaccinated.

A full return in the fall means that capacity restrictions will be lifted and most courses will be on campus. However, we expect that our other health measures — such as wearing masks, extra hand washing and increased cleaning — will continue.
What happens if you drop a class UCF?
A late drop results in the course/s being removed from your class schedule, as if you were never registered in them. As a result, you may be ineligible for all or a portion of your financial aid, depending on the number of hours that you are dropping and the number of hours remaining.
Can you drop a class after the deadline UCF?
If approved, a late drop will result in a full refund of tuition fees and the complete removal of the course from your academic record. A late withdrawal is considered if you can’t complete the semester because of a documented extenuating circumstance that occurs after the withdrawal deadline.
Do you have to pay for a class if you withdraw UCF?
Students may withdraw from courses without a penalty until the date noted in the UCF Academic Calendar. The official date of withdrawal is the date the withdrawal is received by the University. Withdrawing from classes may have financial aid, NCAA eligibility, or International Visa consequences.
